    Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Management Specialist located at Eglin AFB, Florida. The selected candidate will support to the Munitions Directorate and multiple Division and Branch level offices. The individual working this task must have a Secret security clearance

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Logistics support to the Munitions Directorate and multiple Division and Branch level offices.   This task requires collocation at multiple sites on and around Eglin AFB; Accomplishment of tasks required by this task order requires work at Eglin main base and various off-base AFRL facilities that support the RW research mission.   The support shall support multiple technical, facility, and acquisition efforts.  The Logistics Specialist shall advise and assist the government by providing technical and acquisition management support to include procurement and management of equipment and supplies for AFRL/RW Divisions/Branches.  This equipment must be managed, maintained, and accounted for in accordance with Air Force policies and instructions.

     

    Provide advice and assistance with the management of RW munitions custody account(s) to ensure complete accountability of a wide variety of highly modified or unique developmental and standard inventory munitions items in compliance with AFI 21-201, Combat Ammunition Systems Procedures.

     

    Provide advice and assistance managing a rigorous process to maintain accurate inventory, control, and secure custody of munitions items from initial issues, transfer, expenditure, and final turn-in in support of munitions research, development and test operations IAW AFI 21-201 and verifying and monitoring munitions inventories at numerous auxiliary munitions storage facilities at Eglin.

     

    Assist in evaluating test engineer munitions requirements from test mission requests, validate the requirements, and prepare documentation for issuance.  Upon test completion, prepare documentation to account for expenditure.

     

    Provide advice and assistance submitting munitions long range forecast requirements to support the AFRL/RW’s test mission according to AFI 21-201 and any supplemental instructions from HQ USAF/ILMW, MAJCOMs, or the ALCs.

     

    Provide advice and assistance with the handling, drying, weighing, packaging, processing, and movements of explosives and munitions to support AFRL/RW’s mission according to AFMAN 91-201, AFI 21-201 and any supplemental instructions from HQ USAF/ILMW, MAJCOMs, or the ALCs.

     

    Provide advice and assistance, under the guidance of their government sponsor/supervisor, with scheduling and assignment of tasks described above as required to support AFRL/RW’s mission.

     

      QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excellent attention-to-detail, tracking and coordinating multiple programmatic and technical activities. Proficiency in office organization and management.  Knowledge of AF and AFRL management directives and procedures.  Must have Secret security clearance.
    • A minimum of 15 years of prior experience and expertise with Ammunitions management and safety.
    • Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc), especially Microsoft Project.
    • Excellent customer service experience and skills working with a variety of people in defense and industry organizations.
    • Currently hold & maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
    • Excellent attention-to-detail, tracking and coordinating multiple programmatic and technical activities
    • Proficiency in office organization and management.
    • Knowledge of AF and AFRL management directives and procedures.

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:

    Secret

     

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

    • Prefer prior AF experience with highly technical programs, working with scientists and engineers.
