  • Overview

    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The projects we are supporting are: HBD - 3DELRR, HBIS-RSAF AWACS RAMP.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HB’s projects, programs and initiatives.




    Minimum Recommended Education and Experience:

    Ranges from, Level II: BA/BS, 10 years of experience (3 yrs DoD); or  15 years of directly relatable experience (5 DoD);  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).


    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.



    Position Location(s): Hanscom AFB,Langley AFB, Peterson AFB

    Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.



    Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance




    The work to be accomplished will be as fielder and system administrator, including providing training to system administrators for Air C2 Apps*. The individuals assigned under this category will have to travel frequently to multiple worldwide locations and have/maintain a security clearance. A thorough knowledge of Air C2 Apps is required for these positions. This is a highly specialized skillset. Individuals have to successfully and repeatedly be able to field/build Air C2 Apps systems. This knowledge is critical to the Program Office and cannot be duplicated. Loss of these skills would significantly impact the capabilities of Air C2 Apps operationally as well as the ability to remain operational. The location of the personnel can be variable.

    *Air C2 Apps (Theater Battle Management Core Systems Force Level (TBMCS FL), Air & Space Operations Center (AOC), C2AOS-C2IS, GCCS-AF, and UC2).

    Required minimum education and experience: BA/BS and 6 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 2 of which must be in the DoD; OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 4 of which must be in the DoD.


    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
    • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
    • Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections.
    • Performs other duties as required.
