  • Overview

    Successful candidate will provide EPASS Advisory and Assistance Services to the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at the AF Life-Cycle Management Center (previously the Electronic Systems Center). The projects we are supporting are: HBD - 3DELRR, HBIS-RSAF AWACS RAMP.  This position will have to interface with a team of military, Government civilian, contractor project managers and FFRDC/A&AS support personnel in the day-to-day activities associated with management of HB’s projects, programs and initiatives.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Recommended Education and Experience:

    Ranges from, Level II: BA/BS, 10 years of experience (3 yrs DoD); or  15 years of directly relatable experience (5 DoD);  to Level III: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 DoD).

     

    Note: Oasis has some flexibility to swap experience for degree requirements and vice-versa.

    IT Certifications are a plus.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

    Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:

    Secret clearance (depending on location); or as a minimum, the ability to obtain a clearance

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Air Command and Control (C2) Advisor in the Operations, Command and Control Division. The successful candidate will possess knowledge and skill from hands on experience within the Military Air C2 domain.

    • Author and test DRAFT operational processes within/between applications to support analysis of operational threads within/between applications for integration and test
    • Analyze operational threads within/between applications during integration events, author “trouble tickets,” and provide to government for correction by vendor
    • Collaborate with vendor on trouble ticket “fixes” to ensure adequate resolution, and inclusion in test version of application software
    • Support the development of test procedures, based on operational processes and threads within/between applications
    • Support application contractor test (CT), developmental test (DT), and collaborate with vendor on fixes of prioritized test problem reports (TPR) for adequate resolution prior to regression test (RT)
    • Evaluate vendor delivered Software User Manual (SUM) and Training Materials (TM) for adequacy (completeness, accuracy, and usability) as foundation for development of standardized and integrated TMs for primary application users, and tailored TMs with extracts from other applications to complete training as secondary users
    • Deliver training as required in support of (ISO) integration, and DT/RT/(integrated DT) events
    • Provide unique Air C2 training, fielding, and installation support to AOC sites
    • Facilitate Air C2 integration into the AOC baseline by participation in technical exchanges to facilitate completion of Functional Analysis (FA) for AOC, and in Production Center (PC) engineering, integration, and post installation meetings
    • Ensure interoperability for multiple tasks above with respect to Air C2

    Required minimum education and experience: BA/BS and four years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, two of which must be in the DoD as a C2 Weapon System operator, engineer, or support.

     

    General Responsibilities:

    • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
    • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
    • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
    • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
    • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
    • Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections.
    • Performs other duties as required.
