    MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Readiness Assessement Consultant (RAC)


    EXPERIENCE LEVEL / EDUCATION:  The Readiness Assessment Consultant shall have twelve (12) years’ experience in readiness assessment processes as used in the DoD framework to include eight (8) years of combined experience demonstrating a broad representation of the following areas: program management; acquisition management; capabilities and requirements analysis; data architecture analysis;  process definition, deployment, and improvement; large organization management; program analysis and evaluation; facilitation and decision analysis; and strategic and business planning. A Graduate or higher degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Program Management, Finance, or Accounting will be accepted in lieu of six (6) years of overall experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Program Management, Finance, or Accounting will be accepted in lieu of four (4) years of overall experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the successful candidate will:

    • Support the Corporate Readiness Assessment Team and assist the Team in ensuring that the Agency complies with its DoD obligation as a Combat Support Agency to report its Readiness Posture for all Mission Essential Tasks.
    • Provide direct support to the Internal RA team by managing the RA Tool and assist users with reporting their readiness assessment in the Tool; recommend new functionality and business processes that align with the program build process; develop process flows and identify flaws with existing processes to ensure the tool meets user requirements; and develop documentation to assist users with the Tool.
    • Track and manage major RA process activities within the tool, draft action details, send out taskers to all RA users, analyze and verify data is accurate, and ensure task completion within the tool.
    • Provide user support and troubleshoot any issues with the tool; pull raw data from the database and analyze/report findings to the client and users.
    • Provide one-on-one training for the Tool and develop documentation, training and navigation guides to assist users with understanding the RTA Process and accurately inputting data in the Tool; provide numerous training sessions for executives and external site readiness POCs.
    • Assist in the development of briefings, coordinate logistics and prepare for the Monthly Readiness Leads Meeting and Quarterly VTCs in support of the RA process.
    • Manage and update the Readiness team’s website using Siteworks.


    Summary:  This position will focus on gathering data and inputting that data in the RA tool, which is a MS Access database.  It requires interaction with customers to cajole additional details, get agreement on edits, preparation of briefings, among other duties as highlighted above.  It is my assessment that the customer will grow or shrink this position based on the skills and aptitude of the individual placed in this position.
