Overview

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position specifically provides management support to the Air Force Way (AFWay) and Information Technology Commodity Council (ITCC) user communities within the Air Force, managed by PEO BES Enterprise Services Division (AFLCMC/HIC).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must:

  • Have strong experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, HTML
  • Have general knowledge of principles and practices of acquisition
  • Have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with clarity and accuracy
  • Have knowledge of business industrial management, basic contracting procedures to evaluate contractor proposals and activities and be able to input into acquisition documents
  • Be capable of performing the tasks relevant to the basic contract requirements
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have four (4) years of acquisition program management experience
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, the proper personnel clearance required for this position.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the development and implementation of multiple commodity acquisitions within the Air Force Enterprise Services Program by:

  • Providing input into acquisition documentation and briefings
  • Assisting the Government program manager in coordinating activities with the integrated product team members
  • Recommending solutions to program issues
  • Providing input into source selection
  • Tracking progress and assisting with action items related to cost, schedule, and performance
  • Assisting in all other acquisition activities (i.e., draft weekly activity reports; draft data for input into computer based systems; draft staff summary sheets for coordination with functional offices; draft parts of program management briefings; assist in milestone planning, tracking and scheduling; and assist in cost, schedule and performance activities).
  • Provide market research of commercial pricing for the newly established Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs); rate plan comparison of the BPA pricing; analyze vendor transition progress to the new agreements; analyze and report savings from the transition to the agreements

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Assist with development of briefings to support the new agreements, program status, etc.
  • Provide draft processes, implementation plans, communications execution and briefings to support the establishment of the new agreements.
  • Produce Annual Zero Usage Line Termination reports
  • Produce Cellular Rate Plan Optimization reports
  • Conduct an annual audit on rate plans and charges
  • Produce Line Disconnection report
  • Track progress of all annual initiatives
  • Calculate Cost Avoidance for all annual initiatives after completion
