Provide Test Engineering Management support to the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP) program office in the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom AFB, MA




  • Extensive flight test planning and execution experience required, experience with airborne radar systems, and strong data reduction and analysis expertise preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of DoD, Air Force, Test & Evaluation policies and procedures.

  • 7+ years of experience related to flight test engineering, preferably for military aircraft

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required, Master’s degree preferred

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required

  • Current Secret clearance required (investigated within last 5 years)

  • 10-15% CONUS travel required



  • Manage the MP-RTIP lab and flight test program; support the development/review of test plans/procedures, coordinate test schedules and team activities.
  • Witness development tests, demonstrations, dry runs, and verification and validation tests on behalf of the MP-RTIP SPO on site at lab and flight test sites including EAFB, RSIL, and BWI.
  • Review and assess contractor-submitted documents (e.g., test schedules, test plans, test analyses, test reports, bases of estimate (BOEs), and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) to determine their accuracy/completeness .


  • Attend and participate in Test Planning Working Groups (TPWGs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) regarding lab testing and flight testing hardware and software, with an emphasis on software.
  •  Attend and participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR), and Specification Reviews (SRRs) for HBDA systems as required by the MP-RTIP SPO.
  •  Identify and assess risks to program or projects, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and implement risk reduction plans.
