Overview

MAR Division of Oasis Systems LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to support the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB).  The Network Security Engineer will be performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.

LOCATION: Washington, DC

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 5 - 10 years of IT Security experience.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or University required.

CERTIFICATIONS AND TOOLS: Certification(s) in security network engineer (i.e. CISSP).

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must hold an active T1 (NACI) or higher clearance.

JOB STATUS:  Full Time - This position is contingent upon program award.

TRAVEL:  N/A

RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the successful candidate will:

  • The Network Security Engineer will be performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.

QUALIFICATIONS: This candidate must have demonstrated experience with the following:

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • 5 - 10 years of IT Security experience.
  • Ability to evaluate known vulnerabilities to ascertain if additional safeguards are needed.
  • Capacity to maintain a plan for site security improvements and progress towards meeting the authorization/reauthorization of the AIS
