Overview

MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer to support the Farm Credit Administration (FCA or Agency). The fundamental scope of the requirement is to provide technical assistance to the Office of Information Technology Applications Division OIT-AD to accomplish its objectives. The Contractor shall provide subject matter expertise and technical services to assist the OIT-AD in all phases of planning, database management, application development, maintenance, analysis, reporting, documentation, and operations.

 

LOCATION: McLean, VA
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 7 years of technical writing experience. Exposure to multiple editing and proofing tools required.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance 
JOB STATUS: Full-Time This position is contingent upon program award.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Documentation specialist with experience leading major writing projects on technical projects.
  • Experience writing, editing and proofing entire components of technical deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of technical writing experience.
  • Exposure to multiple editing and proofing tools required.
  • Experience writing, editing and proofing entire components of technical deliverables.
